children's ministries

“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark 10:14

At FUMC we hold children to be our most precious resource. Your children will find an exciting place of fun, fellowship and learning in a safe environment. In addition to the special events listed on the following pages, we offer a variety of opportunites for learning and service. Please explore them all and we'll see you here soon!

Tuesday and Thursday, 3:40pm, Coy Hall

Volunteers spend time with students from Truscott Elementary School helping with homework, building learning skills and participating in enrichment activities. Presenters from inside and outside the church share their interests, such as sheep farming, birding, holiday crafts, and cooking. Kids run off school day energy, share a light snack, then break into groups for homework help or enrichment programs. We partner with the Loveland Library who shares “The Reading Game,” developed and copyrighted by employees of Loveland Library for emerging reader literacy. Our afterschool students run, play and learn in a safe, welcoming environment. Volunteers are welcome!
