At FUMC we hold children to be our most precious resource. Your children will find an exciting place of fun, fellowship and learning in a safe environment. In addition to the special events listed on the following pages, we offer a variety of opportunites for learning and service. Please explore them all and we'll see you here soon!

  • sunday school

    Sunday Small Groups Grades One through Five

    Join us each Sunday at 9:45 to learn about Jesus and his great love for us. Elementary Sunday school is located on the second floor of the education wing in the west classroom.

    Little Learners-Pre-K and Kindergarten Ages

    Our children ages 4-5 years spend time enjoying lessons about God and Jesus that speak to them in an understandable and memorable way.

  • serving

    Acolytes

    Children in 3rd – 6th grades are trained to be worship leaders through assisting in the worship service. The acolyte serves by lighting and extinguishing the candles on the communion or altar table at the beginning and the end of the worship service.

    Lay Reader

    Children are invited to serve in worship as a Lay Reader. Lay Readers lead the liturgy, prayers and scripture.


    Music Ministry

    Children's music ministry every week during the school year on Thursdays at 6:00pm in Room E270. Led by Susan Harding. Kids sing during church several times a year, as well as, performing at the Hanging of the Greens worship service and presenting a spring program.

    Methodist owned summer camp experience


    Club 345

    Strengthening our bond to Jesus and one another.

    Our small group designed especially for third through fifth graders meets once a month for fun, fellowship, a Bible blast and service.
