FUMC Serves Days

Monthly (ish) service days to get out into the community and give of our time and effort to local nonprofit service organizations. We often, but not always, meet on a Saturday to volunteer as a group. You’ll find the latest event listed here. Contact Pastor Lee with questions or to sign up at lee@fumcloveland.com or (970) 667-0876. You can also sign up for the upcoming event by clicking here.

April Event: We will be touring some local services this month rather than doing “hands on” work. We’ll meet at 9:30am on April 24 to watch the mobile laundry truck in action. The mission of the Mobile Laundry Program is to break down barriers to success for low-income families and for adults experiencing homelessness in Larimer County, through free, mobile laundry services. Next, we will head to the House of Neighborly Service Life Center for a tour. HNS provides services to people experiencing poverty or a crisis to help stabilize them. Afterward, we will go out to lunch as a group to talk about what we’ve learned.

May Event: Mark your calendars for May 17 sometime in the morning. We will be lending a hand to Heart & Sol as they get ready to celebrate the cultures of our Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American community members at this annual celebration.
